Had a spot at Skipskop back in the days
Hi Warwick
DeleteApologies for the delay in replying. The Manor House and Stables at Melkkamer were built by my ancestor John Henry 'Biddy' Anderson. As kids we used to spend all our holidays there thanks to my great aunt Madeline, our last holiday was in 1984. In recent years I have been back several times and although it is different much of it still feels the same. A truly incredible place. I'm not sure if you have read "Deur die Duineveld na Skipskop" by Brönnhilde Ekermans (2004). This is a must read for anyone who knows Skipskop.
